We nourish our bodies and souls with food that comes from the earth, stays with the seasons, and resonates with the energy around us. Our climate allows year round growing and we have an orchard of fruit trees ripening from Spring until Fall.

A vegetable garden provides as much of our own produce as possible. The garden is continuously evolving, with both perennials and annuals, as we learn how to maximize food production in our particular location.

A barnyard of chickens, ducks, and goats provides nutrient dense protein for our diet as well as manure to feed the soil. All kitchen scraps, prunings, and branches left from firewood production are recycled by the farm animal helpers.

They are essential to the circle of food production in this place.
